Convergence Training recently changed the emphasis of our blog. In recent months, we’ve put more of a focus on creating helpful materials for people in the industries we serve and for our customers. These have included articles on various topics but also free giveaways, including interactive learning devices and resources for customers who use the Convergence Learning Management System (LMS). They’ve even included a few posts just for the sake of laughs.
From what we can tell so far, the change has been a popular. The number of visitors to our blog has grown exponentially. We’ve seen an increase in the number of our followers on Facebook and Twitter. Our blog writer reports a lot more activity at his LinkedIn profile. And we’ve had other blogs create links to ours, such as our new friends at the National Safety blog.
We’ve even had a few blogs copy and paste our blog articles directly into their blogs! That’s a copyright infringement and a no-no, of course, and when we discovered it we asked that the copied material be taken down. But hey, they DO say that imitation is the most sincere form of flattery, right? (Note: If you like one of our blog posts, you’re more than welcome to create a link from your blog to ours.)
Given all that, we thought we’d create a list of the most popular blog posts from 2012. If you missed a few, here’s a chance to see what people were reading about last year. In the meantime, know that we’re doing our best to create some good material for you this year, too, and would love to hear suggestions you have.
