Hello, friend! And welcome to another Convergence Training blog post with a free checklist that you can use as part of your company’s EHS efforts.
This time, the checklist is for machine guarding.
Read on for more information and to download the free machine guarding checklist.
And, we’ve got more free downloadable checklists on other topics here.
Alright, some information first. This Machine Guarding Checklist was first created by OSHA and is also available on their website.
We made some improvements to OSHA’s version, however. For example, in their checklist, there are two columns for each item—Yes and No. But in the OSHA version, checking Yes sometimes mean you’ve got the proper safety practices in place, while other times checking Yes means you’ve got a hazard. So we straightened out that type of confusion, and did some other nice stuff too.
Just click the button below to download the machine guarding checklist.
You’ll then be asked to complete a form. Complete the form and we’ll send you the checklist in an email.
If the email doesn’t seem to appear, check your spam folder. Sometimes email servers automatically direct emails there.
If you run into any problems along the way, or have any confusions or questions, shoot us an email.
Additional Notes: Convergence Training makes no claim that downloading and using these checklists will guarantee safety at your workplace. We hope it makes your workplace safer, but there are no guarantees. Also, we make no claims that we correctly copied and reformatted the checklists from the OSHA versions. We hope and believe we did, but again, there are no guarantees of this and you may want to double-check that on your own.
