After completing this course, participants should be able to identify the parts of a basic circuit; describe the relationships between voltage, current, and resistance in a circuit; explain how current flows through series circuits and parallel circuits; describe the basic operation of transformers, fuses, circuit breakers, and solenoids; and explain how voltmeters and ammeters can help operators detect electrical problems.
