After completing this course, participants should be able to describe how to prepare for tuning a loop and how to tune a loop manually using a systematic trial and error method, the Ziegler-Nichols open loop method, and the Ziegler-Nichols closed loop method. They should also be able to describe how tuning can be accomplished by the auto-tune function, by artificial intelligence features, and by tuning software.
